Ali Larter, Beyonce's "Obsessed" Tops Box Office Weekend
Ali Larter and Beyonce Knowles' fans have kept Zefron loyalists behind. The girls' "Obsessed" finished first in the three-day box office weekend, bumping Zac Efron's "17 Again" in the second place.
The thriller, which also stars "The Office" actor Idris Elba, dominated the whole show with a surprising $28.5 million gross, while Efron and Matthew Perry's "17 Again" still fared fairly well, adding another $11.7 million in its haul.
Another new Friday release was Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard's "Fighting" and Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr.'s "The Soloist," bowing at 3rd and 4th place respectively.
Still in the top 10 is Disney's tween queen Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana: The Movie," which added $6.4 million in its gross at the 8th place.
