Lindsay Lohan's New Movie Goes Straight to Cable

The film's production company, Nu Image/Millennium Films, has confirmed that the comedy will premiere on ABC Family in July 2009. It will be released on DVD a month later.

In the film -- which wrapped last August -- Lohan plays a woman who fakes being pregnant to save herself from being fired. She must then keep the lie going for nine months.

It is the latest film dud for the star, whose last movie efforts include the critically-panned indie Chapter 27 and I Know Who Killed Me. She briefly appeared on ABC's Ugly Betty.

This week, the much-scrutinized star, 22, complained, "If people would just leave my personal life alone – because it's really not that interesting – then I could land a great role. But all the sicko fans and the noise is so distracting."

"I'd like to have my own charity, do work overseas, be in Oscar-nominated films, write movies, produce movies/shows/videos, design cloths, make music, write books," she said. "It's all possible if people would just stop judging me and accusing me and making me out to be this aloof, spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be."

Lindsay Lohan’s deteriorating career

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan’s deteriorating career has faced yet another blow, for her forthcoming flick ‘Labour Pains’ will head straight to cable TV instead of being released in theatres.

The film will premiere on cable TV, and later its DVDs will be released, reports Contactmusic.

It stars Lohan as a woman who fakes pregnancy in a bid to keep her job.

Lohan has also lost out the lead role in director Tim Burton’s forthcoming remake of Alice In Wonderland.

Meanwhile, Lohan has revealed she is working on a new movie with Oscar winner Sean Penn.

Lindsay Lohan To Sign With IMG

Days after Lindsay Lohan said she wanted to model more, the fashion-conscious star may get her wish, according to OK!

"She's a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion," Ivan Bart, the Senior Vice President of the agency IMG Models told the mag. "Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting."

LiLo name-dropped the agency in an interview with Nylon on Thursday.

"I love doing photo shoots. I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I'd do that," she said at the time. "That's fun for me. That's not work."

IMG has represented such supermodels as Gisele Bundchen , Kate Moss and Heidi Klum , as well as celebs including Hilary Duff and Milla Jovovich .

Today Lindsay Lohan Won't Appear In Court

As we reported this weekend, an arrest warrant was issued for Lindsay Lohan. The legally-challenged actress will not appear in court today, however, to respond to the warrant.
Instead, Lindsay's attorney will appear on her behalf. Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said she believes the warrant was issued as the result of a misunderstanding and that it should be cleared in court.
The district atttorney's office said the warrant is related to Lohan's probation. Access Hollywood is reporting the warrant was issued in response to the star's recent trip to Las Vegas. Lindsay apparently drove herself to Vegas to follow GF, Samantha Ronson, to one of Ronson's DJ gigs. Per the terms of her probation, which the brawling self-tanner has been serving since her second DUI conviction in 2007, she is only supposed to drive for work.
Holley told the AP that Lohan is in compliance with her probation. If the court finds she violated the terms of her probation she could face jail time.
