Rihanna Gets Gun Tattoo on Rib Cage

Rihanna , who was allegedly battered by boyfriend Chris Brown , has apparently gotten a gun tattoo etched across her ribcage.

According to Los Angeles-based tattoo artist BangBang, the 21-year-old singer -- who often wears a miniature gun pendant necklace -- had him draw two guns on the top of both of her arms.

She decided not to get inked there because of her lucrative Cover Girl deal, BangBang says on his MySpace page.

"I really wanted to put it here [on her arms]... She loved 'em. But, Cover Girl wouldnt have liked it much... and they pay the bills!" he writes under one photos. "Ended up doing it on her ribs."
